About The Lid Drawer

The Lid Drawer is a kitchen puzzle built around a familiar problem: a drawer stuffed with plastic tubs and lids that never seem to match. Your job is to pair every lid with its tub before the kitchen timer runs out, while sorting out the odd pieces that do not belong.

It runs in the browser with no download, and your progress is saved in that browser. The levels start with a simple starter drawer and keep going through endless drawers and cabinets that get harder as you progress. Spotting the right pair under time pressure is what keeps each round tense.

How to play The Lid Drawer

  1. Start Level 1, the Starter Drawer, and watch the timer begin counting down.
  2. Match each lid to its tub to clear items from the drawer.
  3. Send leftovers to the right place: orphan lids and keys to the Mystery Bin, warped lids and junk to the Trash, and tubs with no lid to Clingfilm.
  4. Clear every item before the timer hits zero to finish the level and move on.

Tips for The Lid Drawer

  • Watch the Items counter so you know how many pieces are left to sort before time runs out.
  • Do not force a match: warped lids belong in the Trash and lidless tubs go to Clingfilm.
  • Keep an eye out for keys and drop them in the Mystery Bin, since the game tracks how many you collect.
  • Try to keep your Streak going by making correct matches one after another.
