About Nichest
Nichest is a trivia game that asks one question: how niche can you go? Each dive gives you seven prompts, and you have 25 seconds to type an answer for each one. Instead of rewarding the most common answer, Nichest rewards the rare ones. The more obscure your correct answer, the deeper you sink.
A depth meter tracks how far you have descended from the surface, and your score builds as you go. The fun comes from digging past the obvious picks and reaching for something few other players would think of. It runs in the browser with no download and no account needed, so you can play as many dives as you like.

How to play Nichest
- Press BEGIN DESCENT to start a dive, and the 25 second clock starts after a short countdown.
- Read the topic for the current prompt and type your answer in the answer box.
- Press DIVE, then press DIVE again to accept your answer, or press SKIP to move on.
- Work through all seven prompts, aiming for rare answers to sink deeper and raise your score.

Tips for Nichest
- Skip the first answer that comes to mind, since the most obvious picks are unlikely to sink you very far.

- Since dives are unlimited, try different strategies across rounds to learn how rare an answer needs to be to go deep.
