About Hexa.io

Hexa.io is an online multiplayer territory game built on a board of hexagon tiles. You start with a small patch of land and head out to grab more, tracing a path through open tiles and then returning home to make that area yours. Other players are doing the same thing, so the map keeps shifting as everyone pushes to expand.

The fun comes from the balance between greed and safety. A big loop claims a lot of hexagons at once, but the longer you stay outside your land, the more exposed you are to invaders. Hexa.io runs in the browser with no download, so you can jump into a round quickly and try to hold the largest territory on the board.

How to play Hexa.io

Start a round to spawn with a small patch of hexagon land.
Move out of your territory to draw a trail across open tiles.
Return to your own land to close the loop and claim every hexagon inside it.
Protect your trail and territory from other players while you keep expanding to become the biggest.

Tips for Hexa.io

Begin with small, quick loops close to your land to grow safely before trying larger grabs.
Keep your trail short when other players are nearby, since time spent outside your territory is when you are most at risk.
Watch for rivals who wander far from home, because their long trails make them easier targets.
Expand toward open areas of the map rather than straight into crowded zones where invaders gather.
