About Primal Isle · Early Access

Primal Isle is a multiplayer dinosaur survival game set on an island that runs in your browser with no download, on a computer or a phone. You start on the coast, gather berries, fiber, wood and stones, craft tools at a workbench and try to stay fed and healthy while the world around you gets more dangerous.

The fun comes from taming. Knock out a dinosaur, feed it, and it becomes your companion that you can command or ride. Survival mode is endless with respawns, so you can build a base and grow a clan, while Royale shrinks a ring until only one winner is left. The game is in early access and gets regular updates.

How to play Primal Isle · Early Access

Pick Survival for an endless game with respawn, or Royale for a shrinking ring with one winner.

Gather berries, fiber and stones, hit trees for wood, and make tools in your inventory.

Eat and bandage yourself to stay alive, and use the workbench to build, upgrade and repair.

Knock out a dinosaur with your fists or tranq arrows, then hold the use key to feed and tame it.

Command or ride your tamed dinos to explore, fight and survive as long as you can, or be the last one standing in Royale.

Tips for Primal Isle · Early Access

Biomes get harder from the outside in: coast, forest, grassland, swamp, mountains, volcano, so gear up before heading toward the center.

Watch your stamina in water, because swimming drains it and running out means you drown. Stay away from lava too.

Rocks only drop resources with the right tool: use an axe in Royale, and a pickaxe in Survival, where the axe gets only a third.

Eat until you are full to heal slowly over time, and save berries and fiber for bandages before a fight.
