About defly.io

defly.io is a territory shooter where you pilot a helicopter across a grid map. You drop towers that link up with walls, and when you close off an area it fills in and becomes yours. Other players are doing the same, so you shoot at them and their towers while guarding your own lines.

The game runs in the browser with no download. Filling areas earns levels and upgrade points for speed, bullets, reload and tower strength, and at level 20 you pick a superpower such as Shield, Teleport or Clone. Modes include FFA, Team, Defuse, E-FFA and 1v1, so you can play solo, with a team or in a duel.

How to play defly.io

Pick a mode such as FFA or Team, choose a server and press Play.

Fly around and build towers, which connect with walls, to close off areas of the map.

Fill enclosed areas to gain territory, level up and spend upgrade points on your copter and buildings.

Shoot enemy players and their towers to break their territory while defending your own.

Keep growing your map control and try to conquer the entire map.

Tips for defly.io

Start with small enclosed areas close together so you level up quickly before enemies notice you.

Put early upgrade points into tower health or tower shield if rivals keep breaking your walls.

Save your superpower for fights, for example Shield when trading shots or Teleport to escape a bad spot.

In Team mode, build next to teammates so your territory joins up and is easier to defend.
