About ColorWars.io
ColorWars.io is a multiplayer territory shooter played on a grid. Every bullet you fire paints one cell in your color, and you can only walk on cells you own. The catch is that you are out the moment an enemy paints the cell under your feet, so aim and positioning decide every fight.
It runs in the browser with no download or account, and rooms are filled with AI pilots so a match is always ready. You can play Classic free for all, 10v10 Team, four-player Rush or BedWars, level up your cannon with upgrades, and spend gold on turrets and mortars that defend and expand your land.

How to play ColorWars.io
- Pick a mode and join a match to start on your own patch of colored cells.
- Move one cell at a time across your own color and hold the mouse button to shoot, painting the first cell each bullet reaches that is not yours.
- Keep enemies from painting the cell you stand on, and paint theirs to knock them out.
- Level up to choose upgrades and spend gold on turrets and mortars.
- In Classic, finish the four-minute round with the most territory to top the leaderboard.

Tips for ColorWars.io
- Keep two or three rows of your color between you and any enemy so a single bullet cannot reach the cell you stand on.
- Take fire rate and extra bullet upgrades early, since more bullets per second means more cells painted and faster level-ups.
- In Classic, a kill gives you your victim's entire territory, so eliminating the leader in the last 30 seconds can win the round.
- In Team mode, push for the heavy turrets on the center line to take control of the map.
