About Astroe.io

Astroe.io is a multiplayer 2D space battle game where you fly a ship through an asteroid field, blast enemy players and collect gold to upgrade your ship. It runs in the browser with no download, so you just type a ship name, pick a server and join a game.

There are two modes. In Satellites, you join the red or green team and fight to capture all twelve satellites on the map, which then fire on enemy ships. In Free For All, up to 50 players battle with no teams. Powerups like invisibility, shields and double damage keep every fight unpredictable.

How to play Astroe.io

Type a ship name, choose the server closest to you and press Join Game.

Steer with your directional engines, thrust with the main engine and fire lasers at asteroids and enemy ships.

Collect the gold dropped by destroyed asteroids and ships, then spend it to upgrade your ship.

In Satellites mode, fly into a satellite's capture area and stay there until the contest bar fills to your team colour.

Help your team capture every satellite, or survive and rack up kills in Free For All.

Tips for Astroe.io

Clear enemy defenders before capturing a satellite, since any enemy inside the capture area stalls the bar.

Save invisibility for sneaking up or escaping, because firing or taking damage cancels it.

Shoot asteroids between fights for steady gold, then spend it on ship upgrades or, in Satellites mode, on your team's satellite guns.

Zoom the map out to spot incoming enemies and nearby powerups before they reach you.
